GAR buying other weapons

My friend told me after the event you could buy the unupgraded losing version of the other weapons. He said you could buy them with BT fragments, is this true? i really hope so cause i picked wrong faction =[

Not true. In a MUCH later event you will be able to use points earned during the event to get slightly worse versions of the weapons, but it is unknown how the event will be handled on Xbox servers if you even get it.
