How do PM devices work exactly?

Is it just a simple case of buying one and feeding it to your partner and it becomes that type? Or do you have to feed it other things to make it level 80 (I think that's the level when you get it's partner card) first?

It has to be level 80 first. Also, certain PM devices have other requirements. For example, if you make a striking bot you can only change it to other striker models until its Battle Stat goes up to use the EX devices.

Thanks, It did seem to easy to just feed it something that costs 50k and it would be instantly level 80.
Looks like it's back to feeding it dimates
Also, is the psupedia down or something? I'm getting a 404 not found error :/

Ok, not sure why but it's asking for some username and password... kind of annoying, if i dont enter it I just get the 404 error
