View Full Version : XBox: Anyone manage to get Xbox PSO online?

I was thinking of importing PSO for Xbox instead of waiting, but I want to make sure I can play it online if I'm going to.

Is there a guide out there on how I can get online with Xbox PSO?

I'm curious too about if PSOX is region locked or not. Wouldn't be advised to get the JP version, sine you'd only be able to play on the JP servers.

it is region locked, so all you'd have to do is if you import the game, just set your xbox's region to japan, and there you can log onto the Jp servers.

Ive been looking but how do you change your region on your Xbox besides importing a jp Xbox?

Action Replay for Xboxmight have a region code bypass just like the PS2 and Gamecube versions do. action replay is supposed to be out sometime this month

Not a snowball chance in hell you'll change the region coding of the Xbox with the AR.
The only thing the device will allow you to do is transfer hacked saves to your HD. Nothing more. No codes.

Hence for playing PSO Xbox NOW, you either import a jp Xbox, or put a modchip in your Us/Eu one to change the region code.
Then you need a valid jp address to input when registering LIVE, else SEGA will refuse to let you buy a HL for PSO.

Ahh screw it. I'll just wait for the US version.
