Ah; I made it as I wasn't aware of anything else and I wanted to translated the thread into an easier to read format.

Not sure which difficulty the old thread is based off of. But what does "END" mean?

Ya know, the guide doesn't really explain much at all (Def X? Dodge X?). I'm guessing Endurance. I've noticed that in normal compared to higher difficulties (and with much lower "END") monsters are more susceptible to status effects like stun. And if you notice, bosses have an endurance of 1, though they are immune to status effects.

I think dodge x and def x are modifiers to defense and evade I think. Also the guide has nothing on rappys and boomas?

I figured it's something like that, but I don't see why they don't explain the tables. And there's no rappies or boomas in the guide. Just what i've put up there.

Pfff typical of a non-premium brady guide. Not that it really matters as they're not particularly tough enemies.


Addition note: Louie's guide was based on super hard. Will adjust the list soon.

Cool. Something I was wondering about recently is do slicers count as melee or gun attacks for the purpose of resistances. Do you have any idea?

Slicers actually count as Melee attacks.
Either that, or Force attacks, I kinda forgot since it's been a while since I played.

Slicers are Force(Wand Icon) weapons, but I figured rods and wands did melee damage, not sure about slicers.

A way to test is comparing a Slicer with a Rod, and depending on which is strong, you go after an enemy with a certain resistance.

If the Rod is stronger: Try going after a Melee resistant/range weaker enemy as if the weaker slicer does more damage, then it's ranged.

If the Slicer is stronger, try a range resistant enemy as to see if it'll do less damage than the rod.

But enemies with low melee resistance seem to allow Forces to do surprising damage with their attacks in the face of their techs not being as effective.
