It's been stated quite a few times over the last few days in a couple different threads that Gameguard is being used. The sticky and the alpha thread already have full blown convos about it.

Maybe in the full game it will be someting else?

Optimistic, if anything they would be testing their method of protection of cheating along with the Alpha.

Possible they'll drop it, but I don't see it happening.

Thin client. Cannot cheat without hacking the server. Of course, this also means the server has the maximum possible load per player, but... at least any hacking is a felony offense.

That said, there is no security against exploits.

Oh this is Lol.

Gameguard's DNS is down. All games that use it currently aren't playable.

PSO2 Alpha in a few hours.... IT'S A SIGN! :wacko:

Edit: Derp, seems like it's back up again.
