I could be wrong... but I think it adds 95% more ATP. So, if your ATP is 500, then with the weapon equiped, it will be 975. This is, of course, on top of whatever ATP bonus that the EGG BLASTER normally provides.

Have you tried this (http://www.pso-world.com/damagecalc.php)?

The damage calculation is different for E1&2. Unlike the DC/PC versions where the % was factored with the combined ATP, weapon % in E1&2 only factor with the weapon's ATP. Here's an interesting comparison...

Let's say you have a Vulcan +9 (in the DC/PC versions it could go to +15, but for ease of use lets just say they're both +9) with 50% Dark. You have a base ATP of 835.

DC/PC: 835+38=873. 873/2=436.5. 873+436.5=1309.5. Total ATP is roughly 1310.

E1&2: 38/2=19. 38+19=57. 57+835=892. Total ATP is 892.

Difference: 418 ATP

As you can see, area % in E1&2 are far less useful than they were in the DC/PC versions. It gets even scarier when you factor in Shifta. In the DC/PC versions' Shifta effected the combined ATP, and then the % were factored after the Shifta results. In E1&2 Shifta only effects the base ATP of the character and has no effect on a weapon or the weapon's area %. Let's continue with our example from above using Shifta 15 which is roughly a 25% ATP bonus.

DC/PC: 835+38=873. 873/4=218.25. 873+218.25=1091.25. 1091.25/2=545.625. 1091.25+545.625=1636.875. Total ATP is roughly 1637.

E1&2: 835/4=208.75. 835+208.75=1043.75 38/2=19. 38+19=57. 1043.75+57=1100.75. Total ATP is roughly 1101.

Difference: 536 ATP.

The only thing to note is that enemies were a lot stronger in the DC/PC versions in every stat. The only thing that really makes E1&2 difficult is the multiple-hit rule while playing online. Offline is a breeze (especially in multi-player mode) since the multiple-hit rule doesn't apply.

... Hold on... Yep. My brain just fried trying to understand that.

Can't you just go through the game just by estimating?

I think it goes up to 100%
But I've never seen more than 40%...

I've seen up to 60%. I am talking about weapons I own, not what I've seen online in trade windows. The 60% was on Native though. :/ Found it in C-Mode last night. (Yes, I'm just getting started in it. :/) Anyways, it's a decent Saber for my FOnewearl to use through the Forest.
