Question About Damage...

OK, I was wondering what the "better" setup would be. I don't know how to factor in all the damage %'s. Would it be better to:

A) Use a 40-45% Mugunburga at 0/10 with Full Custom Power
or
B) Use a 30-35% Mugunburga at 10/10 with Full Custom Power

I can currently afford a 10/10 pallet of burgas at 30-40%. I just dont want to was all that cash and it not be worth it at all. Please advise and thanks in advance.

Exactly what I was thinking BUT fcp gives 20% boost at lvl 2. I didnt know how much % of damage each %element does.

You cant see a damage difference with FCP lvl 2. You only notice it if you using moves like Jabroga and Gravity break.

Ok I am not sure, what class/race you use so the following test is using a fully GAS'ed male cast FM's stats. (using Lumius/Kaos Knight) I forgot to add the extra ATP from the Shijin Combo so the numbers will be lower than they should. The damage difference would still be the same though, so don't worry. :)

Since 35% and 45% don't exist I have used 36%, 42%, and 46%.

The test is for the 2nd part of Majarra hitting a lvl 175 Deljaban.

lvl 175 Deljaban DFP = 668
Male Cast ATP = 2345 + 360 = 2705
Dus Majarra 2nd combo PA modifier = 220%

Mugunburga 36% 10/10 damage = 3635

Mugunburga 42% 0/10 damage = 3520

Mugunburga 46% 0/10 damage = 3591

And just for fun

10/10 50% damage = 3900

Sorry I forgot to add in the ATP from the Shijin and the combo. (200 extra ATP) If you want just plug all of these numbers into the damage calculator along with the 200 extra ATP to see the numbers.

On Mugunburgas of the same percent you will notice a difference between a 0/10 and a 10/10. An extra 166 ATP is really noticeable when using the opposite element.

In my opinion, yes. I'm looking at it from TA'ing point of view, so I guess it is a matter of personal preference.

What would do more damage...

10^ 50% Muktrand

or

0/10 38% Mugunburga

OR

should i just buy broken high percet burgas and get a set of 10^ 46%+ Drill Knuckles?

thats what i figured. i really would rather use broken 46%+ burgas and a nice set of 10^ 50% drills but they are harder to come by than muktrands. ive posted on both sites for drills with no luck.
