Chaos is the natural state of things. Chaos exists everywhere there is life. However. Chaos is more than simply disorganization. Chaos is potential.

As masters of the world, it is the duty of the Engineer to take Chaos and build Order. We Engineers see not just the parts, but the completed thing. We seek to bring the creations of our minds forth into being. Out of Chaos, comes creation.

I'm a Draftsman. I've worked with Engineers. Engineers solve problems. It's what they do. A guy comes up to an Engineer, says, "I have this, and I want to do blah with it," and the Engineer replies, "I'll make it work." So the Engineer will set to work, working out the large stuff, and he'll set his Draftsman to working out the fine, less vital details.

I'm working to a Bio-engineer status. Taking life's functions and making it work for us. Sure evolution does an admirable job but it is not always quite optimal or good.

What is fit is rarely the best. Take the malaria paradox where people who have the sickle cell trait that is dormant (Missing both alleles to have an active sickle cell expression) who are resistant to malaria, that causes a pressure on the population where normally it would have been bred out but since Malaria puts a pressure on people keeping the people with the trait around allowing the disease to rear it's head when 2 carrier mate and have a child who has it active.

We are to make order out of chaos rather than just moan about it. :E
