Yup, just found out the sex of my not so soon to be baby!
(My girlfriend isn't too far along... about 4-4 1/2 months)
Pretty excited, everyone!

Time is going by so slow.. hopefully it'll pick up!

Any name suggestions?

We thought of all girl names, cant really find any boy names.... so I guess if we ever have another, I hope it's a girl lol.

Just don't name him Keith. I hear its the most unattractive male name of them all.

Picture your son at 30.

Who do you see? Is he happy, content in himself? Successful, or on a path to fulfillment? What are his goals, his challenges? Who are his friends, lovers, and rivals? What do they call him?

Pick a fitting name for the kind of man you see. Not the most important parenting choice you will make, but still... the world will judge him in part based on this.

Maybe William? It's Latin for Defender, so he may grow up to be a righteous type. I mean, if you believe in the whole name partially determines the kind of person they'll be thing.

I mean, my first name is William. (Mind you, I don't go by it, I go by my middle name.), and I've always liked the sound of names like William. It sounds dignified and mature.

William, Arthur, those kinds of names. Of course, the final decision is up to you, it is your child after all.

My father's name was William, his father's name was William, and his father before him was named William. The might have been one or two Williams even farther back in my family xD

Sergei. It's strong. It's Russian. And above all one of the greatest composers of all time was named Sergei (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sergei_Prokofiev) (though he was hardly the only composer with that name, and hardly the only great one at that).

Funny, my mother admitted to me one time that she wanted to name me Yuri/Uri. Considering I'm American and a pasty white boy, I think Matthew suits me better. 8)

Name it HEAVY

Michael will be the middle name, after my girlfriend's dead brother..

Lol..

I like the name choices, specially the Russian ones. :P

We're still unsure of a name, but we have a while before he's born..

Give him a strikingly European name, like Cedric, or Rafael, or Sven.

Bonus points if you're not even white.

Congratulations, Volcompat. When the child is born, be prepared for an enormous rush of protective instincts. It's really quite an experience.

Hey now, I have excellent insurance!

Meira.... I can feel it already..
I'm way more responsible than I used to be..
Actually saving money, and doing good.
Working over 80 hours a week to save up, and going to the police academy!

What you're experiencing now, is hardly the finest filing off the tip of the ice berg. As the time comes, you'll find yourself having disturbingly vivid dreams that your child has already been born. Jokes of a given kind that you once found amusing will now horrify you.

Also, apparently the birth of a child will drastically decrease your testosterone levels.

There is no better.

If you want to go extreme ancient version, go "Mattatiah", but it's a tad long.
