What is the special conversation in Door to Subspace? I have no clue on what I need to look for here. :D

You will need Maya to mention the secret character Dragon Sakai, here is the script in Japanese (from JP Wiki)

「調査の終わってないレリクスで行方不明になられたら」
「調査を請け負っているこっちとしてはたまったもんじゃないわ!」

「え？どんな人物かって?」
「こっちに来てる資料だと…」
「派手なスーツにめがねを掛けたやたら存在感のある男性」
「らしいわ…」
「こんな人物ガーディアンズでもGRMでも見たこと無いわね」

When you get that from Maya, there is a chance for to meet this guy and get a dragon scale. The chance of meeting him is random.
