So, I'm just trying to make the move to PSU JP, and twice now it has given me that error message when in the middle of updating. Any idea why, and is it a common thing?

I'm not sure what number my error message was, but when opening PSU JP through Steam I triggered the Game Guard and it would shut down.

You're probably triggering the anti-cheat detection somehow with a background program/process. *If it's the same error message, could be something completely different.
