no seriously, find stuff in the market you HAVE or can easily obtain that sells, and then just sell it cheap enough so that people will actually buy it from you and not the others. That is called competition. You will be losing money, but you'll make money faster than anyone else on the market.

This is formally called "Undercutting" but it works if you are poor, but undercutting is countered by trading.

How much $ do you have to work with? What kind of $ are you trying to make. Undercutting will work for selling off the crap you've picked up, but you might as well sell that junk to the npc and turn it over quick.

You either need to hunt rare items that are selling high, synth items with high %, or learn to exploit the shop system. Find out which of these tactics you enjoy the most, and make the $. Anyway you go it's going to take time, effort, and knowledge of the game to get rich.
