Looking to read some FanFics. Recommendations?

I've always loved the universe of Phantasy Star, but I need more! I know there are some fanfics on here, but there are also some scattered across the net.

What fanfics would people recommend? I'd love one that involves the original PSO characters; such as Ash, Zoke, Dr.Montague.. but especially The Black Hound, Kireek! I'll read just about anything other than comedy and where all the guys just make love to each other (I forget the genre name), though I am quite fond of action adventures.

As a guy who reads a fair number of fanfics, I've got a few recommendations.

Ultimate Hunters (http://www.pso-world.com/fanfic.php?op=viewstory&id=7Ultimate Hunters0) by New Ultimate is probably my favorite PSO fanfic of all time. Granted, it's got a fair bit of comedy, but it jumps between that and being very serious... Well, a lot. Also, Kireek serves as a major antogonist in the story, and Ash makes two appearacnes.

Xaeris's fanfics are also pretty good. The first one's pretty much straight comedy, granted, but each one become progressively more serious. Note: The most recent one is still being written, although it's nearing the end. This link will take you to the latest thread. I would also recomend Hunewearl_Meria's "Recollection of Meria". You can find it in the fanworks fan fiction at the bottom of the sites home page. It's one of the first I've read here and remains one of my favs.

Ok thanks guys :) i'll make a start on these ones sometime soon. I can take some comedy in my reading, just not things that's nothing but comedy, and goes all OTT etc. Anyway, if there are any more you can think of I might like, please keep 'em coming!

Not to entirely toot my own horn here, and I know you poo-pooed comedy, but this PSO fic I wrote last summer seemed to have a broader appeal than just the jokes. At heart it was a time traveling, gunslingin' action/adventure story, and it starred many classic PSO V1 characters including Tyrell, secretary Irene, Mome, Dr. Osto, Vol Opt, Matha Grave, and at least mentioned a few others in passing. Feel free to give it a failing grade if you want, though. It was around 50,000 words, spilt up into eighteen chapters and a short epilogue.
