just a random thought i had and i wanted to know if any of you have a character that you favor the most? I know some people on here that delete a character after they reach lvl60 to start a new one. My favorite character would have to be the first i created Akumamaru. Ive had him since the i started the game and have logged over 2700 hours on him, hes special to me because i think hes one of a kind being a male newman fighter (he gets the job done surprisingly well for a newman). any other people have the same feeling for there favorite creation?

Keilyn

Here is my list, with some explanations:

Keilyn (PSU - Main)

When I first started her, the main idea with her was to Represent my Heart in the form of a Modernized version of Nei, with some independence. This is why she walks around with purple/violet hair. I loved the Racial quality of their stats. In PC/PS2, she was a teenager, growing up. In PSUJP, she is fully grown as my main character in E-1, while in E-2 a keilyn also exists, but as a small kid (younger than on PC/PS2) who holds my items and does my grinding.

Selene (PSU)

Selene is based of the girl "Selene" from a story I wrote, recreated for PSU. She started close to the character but eventually became an emotional reflector for me. She is special because completely by accident and emotion is how she evolved from a very generic character to my most evolved and developed character.

I said "let me make a character based on one of my other characters" and in the end I got a character that took on a life of its own. Funny thing was, she was the character I made to "Fill my last slot" and she has a larger story than the others, though at the same time she isn't my main character.

Rynia and Leafblight (RYL characters)

Rynm Mae is a name that Corrupted into Rynia. Leafblight was my translation of "Elf Killer" into something more metaphoric as a joke. Both characters had a lot of log time in RYL. The two became special because I experimented a lot with them. Rynia evolved from experimentation into a template I use when making any female character online. Leafblight evolved into my second largest humor joke and mentality, the almighty Unga Bunga .

Without Rynia, there wouldn't be a Keilyn or Selene.

Shira Rae (Guild Wars)

Shira was an Elementalist (Spellcasters) I made as a PvP-Only Character. The character became popular for a while and over time I desired to make her into a PvE character, but chose not to. Shira Rae is very special because she has a "story" generated by accident. It grew on me and became special.

The character is one of my favorites that I gave that name to Keilyn's Partner Machine as well.

SolarFlare (X3 AP)

This was the name of the main ship I used in the game X3 Albion Prelude, a sandboxed space game that beats Wing Commander to a bloody pulp and allows you to build a full Empire in a "Simulation" environment that has an emphasis on space combat and tactics.

SolarFlare was an Argon Griffon Sentinel Ship, a frigate ship. Eventually in my time playing this game, it took on a life of its own. The ship is NOT the strongest ship in the game by far and there are ships that can destroy me senselessly, but the ship was all about tactics and fit me like a glove.

The ship allowed me to make near-impossible wins occur. From Surviving against Three Xenon-Qs Simultaneously, to surviving in Xenon and Pirate Space. The greatest victory it took was in defending two bases in a system simultaneously against a pair of ships and their escorts that outclassed me and outgunned me. By the end of the battle, most of my armament was gone, my fighters were shotdown, most of my shields were destroyed, the bases took very heavy damage, but the enemy battlefleet was destroyed. I was two direct hits away from being destroyed myself.

Of course, my greatest "character" is my main online screen name. Which started a very cute joke and evolved into a mock-religious cult called "The Sacred Order of the Brotherhood of Newbs" where we rewrote Genesis and Revelations and "Spread our Gospel" in online games to all the Religious Fanatic Groups. We existed to fight the good fight against the "Elitist Dogma" in these games, as a bunch of Elites Posing as Newbs and taking our the garbage in newb fashion!" Our religion was called "Newbish" and we spent our "phases" confusing people as to whether we were Polytheistic, Monotheistic or Heterotheistic and we did a very heavy Pantheistic joke too as well as a Henotheistic joke.
