As an old veteran of Phantasy star Online, and someone who kept a fair distance from Universe. I am interested in hearing about how the new version compares to the DC/Cube/PC original.

Sorry if this question has been asked a lot. I have not used the forum in a while and I am hoping that there may be an english version by the end of the year.

Cheers for the info. Looks like people are really enjoying it! Nice to see gameplay favoured over graphics (saying that still looks great to).

Why not to get both... ?
A good game doesnt exclude graphics, however, good graphics itself will never make a good game. Having good graphics will add a bonus to the game, and enhance the experience to a even higher level.

What i want to say, yes good gameplay most important. In term its worse, game is ruined completly, graphic doesnt matter anymore. But as long as PSO (and other games) does remain on its principles that graphic is just a unnecessary addon, the final level of a masterpiece can not be attained. A true masterpiece, have to shine in any spot. It doesnt exclude certain elements, every element is important.

Regarding classical games, we dont even want to see them graphically different because its part of theyr unique signature. Some improvements can be done on the matter of resolution and details, but a original work should never be remade in a way which isnt stict to the original signature. However, nowadays, games do not have the same signature such as classical games. To be original we have to adapt to nowadays standart! We have to reflect our time in the most artistic way.

There have been no announcement by Sega of Japan. Right now, we don't; can go either way.

But Ark22 guarantees it!
