.....Sega decided to hold an event at a designated time on the game at a certain place that you had to pay an admission to see?

I was thinking since Sega has a load of rights to the Hatsune Miku/Vocaloid franchise it would be awesome to attend a virtual concert to see a virtual diva :P

What do you all think?

Like I've said before, I'LL PAY ALMOST ANYTHING to support this game. JUST TAKE MY MONEY, SEGA!!! TAKE IT!!!

I would also like to add that it doesn't necessarily have to be a concert like event it could be like buying tickets to the local fare. Maybe something like a mission that is just a bunch of little mini games you would meet up with friends to go to?

I'm just trying to think of other ways Sega could get more money to support the game besides all the already mentioned methods.

I cannot support this idea. While it sounds fun, you should not have to pay actual currency for in-game special events. If one were to pay Meseta for an admission ticket, that would be fine and I'd be all for it. But that would mean Sega would lose money for licensing the character or band.

It seems kind of like an "everyone loses" situation.

Its the same thing as DLC. Which we pay for anyway. I could see that with the next Casino Voloyal.

My only question is this; will there be door prizes? XD

Now that's a scary idea.

Japan is known for having a lot of casinos. If real money is used for that then it would qualify as a gambling game. Which could in theory require its participants to be over 18.
Then again if your buying fake money that will never return to your bank account (real bank) then it may be OK then.

^You aren't allowed to gamble with real money in games in the US/EU... So I HIGHLY doubt they'd make a casino letting you use real world money. D: They could also quite easily rip you off with a roulette wheel and stuff, considering they can't actually make it completely random.

As far as "concerts".... While interesting, I don't like the idea of it. What if you pay for something then your internet cuts out?

Ummm.... Casinos are illegal in Japan ^^;

Maybe you're thinking of Pachinkos? They're basically slot machines with some sort of game/anime gimmick to pass it off as "entertainment" and not gambling.

Or a remake of Dr.Eggman's Interstellar Amusement Park for all I care. We already pay to add on content why not lobbies.

hopes they do bring bck the voloyal casino thing andthe outfits ^^ lol

Yet maybe it be like a multi party lobby in mission that has the fair grounds for events like convention center lobby that has random drawings for digital weapons or somthing like that or outfit. like a full on multi lobby that allows player sto go in and say christmas events and stuff.

Not even going to go into how much I hate vocaloid...

Which is ironic that it keeps plaguing my precious Pantashi Suta Onrainu.

If they start playing vocaloid concerts/music on the monitor I'm gonna have to learn japanese just to spam SEGA to add in a TV channel changing function.

But this game being free to play I can imagine endless amounts of vocaloid fans invading and making 234234234 characters named Miku and Rin.

I still don't get why people are fans of a holographic, fake popstar. :|

I can deal with several FF and DBZ based characters, but a lot of Mikus and Rins would just be an absolute nightmare of annoyance. Its things like that which make me really dislike online gaming sometimes.

Off-topic, but there is always a vendor near a pachinko parlor that trades certain items won at the parlor for real money. It's their loop-hole, so to speak.

Sounds like an interesting idea. There was a virtual Hatsune Miku conecert, so why not?
