this is basically an external graphic card type of thing.

so if any of you guys for some reason can really only play pso2 on your laptop, but are suffering because your gpu is bollocks, (onboard, old, etc.) but your cpu is great as well as ram, try checking out the above thread.

estimated costs will come out to around 100-150 dollars depending.

it has pretty much all the information you need, but i highly recommend reading through everything if you're thinking about doing this. especially because it's kind of quirky (you need a second monitor for maximum results, power from the external graphic card will be bottlenecked somehow for some laptops, depending on the solution you choose, you may need a power supply, etc.)

it still could prove to be a much cheaper option than building a new computer if your laptop already can process fine.

I'm not sure how well this works with very old laptops, but recent laptops 2010+ should perform fairly well with this.

Plus the cost of whatever GPU you use it with.

Interesting and rather ingenious, but seems like it requires a bit of computer savvy to pull off.
