Question About Dupped Weapons

If you are in possession of a dupped weapon that you didn't know was dupped and someone gave it to you, Is your character's information in danger of being corrupted?

Not in any more danger than it normally would be. There's no way to tell a dupe from a legit item, so there's no way it can contribute to character corruption (other than morally.)
