Before I start rambling I want to let you know that this is a Strategy RPG NOT a fighting game. The tactical side of the gameplay seems to be similar to Final Fantasy Tactics/Fire Emblem

Anyway, I was going to post a thread on this earlier, since information of the game came out a week or so ago but I figured it wouldn't be as interesting without some screenshots. Speaking of which, here you go!

Whats new?
-Added the NEW trailer featuring some more characters, the battle system, and environments.

Notice: The following character roster is no longer accurate, they introduced many new characters in the gameplay trailer. I'll update this when i get the chance.
Each character will be partnered up with another to make pairs of two.

I really wish I could answer that question but sadly not enough details have emerged as of yet.
I'm quite curious myself as to how it will work, but for now, the screenshots are the only example we'll have for awhile.

Can't say bad of the youtubes most of us only got to see in terms of anything of Namco x Capcom, having no idea how it played in person.

Im not to happy about the SEGA roster though as of right now.

Ugh, Namco. That alone pretty much makes me not interested because they're an awful publisher. It looks like a PS2 game so I could care less about it, even though I love Resident Evil. I don't buy anything from shitty Namco outside of Tekken and SC.

Don't expect this to come to NA.

Namco actually went up to Capcom to ask about the possibility of this, Sega got involved shortly afterward. I'm not crazy about Capcom OR Namco lately, but Sega has stayed on my good side..besides some of the past sonic games and how they just laid off a billion people e- e

Anyway I'll update the page shortly to contain some information about the "X chromosome" which would explain the name Project "X Zone" possibly.
The first information gathered about the game included a picture of the current character roster but made into chromosomes. I'm still not sure what it represents but hopefully I'm not just wasting my time getting info on it.
Lets just hope for the best, they can either screw this up (Like all 3 companies have done in the past) or make millions xD
Regardless of what happens though, its certainly interesting.

HEL YEH, they remember GODZ EATER BURST exists.

I only ran like 1 mission in that game, and now shake my head in SEGA ST's direction with their boringest pea shootin RAnger class, usually limited to 1 shot each, getting rid of spreads and shotguns, or making a new niche in multi bullets.

Almost as much customization in the boolits, as the weab stuff in outfits. We'll talk about the represented character there, some other time with the hoodie over a baggy sweatsuit with collared shirt & tie and ganguro/Elena lite in dark skin, white hair.

That low poly Virtua Cop guy? > little kids in skimpy outfits with giant swords.

I'm glad that people finally started to realize that X has been overshadowed by Zero's overrated, highly favorite'd (by their OWN creator even D<) for years by the time he got completely ignored for MVC3.

I noticed that you didn't have their names listed yet–at 2:17 in the first video are the characters Soma Schicksal and Alisa Amiella of God Eater (Namco Bandai).

Edit: Hm, I didn't see the pair in the second video. Did they get cut or are they perhaps unlockable characters now, I wonder?

I'm planning on picking up a Vita soon so I won't be tasting any of this action anyway. :sad:
