Can't move character because of chat

So, I didn't see anyone else having posted about this...

Does anyone know why I'm completely unable to move my character or use keyboard shortcuts? The game thinks that I'm constantly in public chat mode, so I can't do anything outside of stand in one place and mash stuff into the text field.

I've tried messing with my settings, I don't have a gamepad plugged in... I'm about to uninstall + reinstall.

You could try hitting the button that gets you out of public chat mode, or you could try............................................... ..........................Actually that's about it.

That's just the Enter key by default, right? I've tried that. :( This is frustrating.

Ooh I know! It's the scroll lock key! ^^

I had that happen to me too, sooo frustrating.
