No sound

Hey I got a friend into the beta and she's not getting any sound.
I was hoping someone would know something about that and when I get off work I could check this thread.

This also happened to my brother uninstalling an re-installing didn't help, I've tried fiddling with the sound settings, not sure if i tested them all but nothing seemed to be working thus far. I'll keep trying.
