So, I'm a major fan of anything that allows you to change whatever you want aesthetically, so naturally, I fell in love with the revamped Room function.

Here is what I'm at right now! :3

Now... I've got a question that maybe someone can answer?

Under the initial My Room controller there are four options:

-Placing Decorations
-Remodel Room
-Move location (? I think so... I have a ticket that show up in the menu that opens, but it doesnt work.. maybe I'm already there.)
-Privacy Settings (? Not sure on this one, it opens a sub-menu with 5 options... Dunno.)


Anywho, the QUESTIONS START FROM THE "REMODEL ROOM" OPTION HIGHLIGHTED.

Can anyone provide a translation? No matter which of the three you choose, you get taken to the "Storage vs. Inventory" screen, and it shows you the remodeling tickets. I used the first option originally in order to make my room the pretty green... I have another ticket, would using it under one of the other options perhaps add another room?

I searched around the forum a little and didn't see anything really relating to rooms... But if this is a repost, we'll fix it. xD;;



MOSTLY I WANT TO MAKE THINGS PRETTY.

I heard someone talking about a dartboard and playing darts in their room. Can you really play darts? :3

Yeah! I saw it in someone elses room. You dont really play though. Its just an animation followed by a score announcement.

ALSO My friend translated for me!!

It translates to

CENTER ROOM: (LAYOUT) (SIZE)
LEFT ROOM:
RIGHT ROOM:

Etc. Sooooo ROOM EXPANSIONS.

Its MAGICAL.

Would anyone of you be so kind as to tell me how you can rotate the things you want to place in your room? I literally tried every key ond the keyboard, but nothing seems to work ._.

so fi going to have room expantions maybe they will let the basic single myroom be free or single time purchase and then let the rent thing as i call it be for the expantions.

i think rotate is ctrl and the arrow

It seems there are 3 types of general room edit.

#1. The style of the room which which allow you to change the wallpaper and floor and all that stuff.

#2. Room Expansion. I have one (i think) but I can't use it. i've tried every way i can think of to use it, but it won't work. I know it's a room expansion because of the icon is two arrows that point out like an expansion. Got it from the Scratch lottery thing.

#3. Location which is the background you see when you go out on the balcony. You can buy one in a shop in the shop lobby, but again. I have not been able to make it work.

I dont even know how to change the background, and I bought one.

Also I want a jukebox, but I cant find it too :(

To add rooms, you just have to have the ticket for the type of remodel you want, and select the center, left, or right. If you dont have left or right it'll add it in...

As for expanding the size of an individual room, I'm not sure...

expanding the room is just like adding one of the 3 rooms. I just found out. The thing is, all your stuff gets placed in your inventory. Also not sure if you can double expand a room. The room seems to double in size.

edit: I decided to measure since there is a grid like in PSU.

A Normal room is 10x11 inside and 10x7 outside.
A Large room is 18x17 inside and 18x7 outside.

There are just so many ways to answer that.


You get a room expansion thing from scratch lottery. Then once you get it you use it the same way you change the style of the room. The room expansion item shows up along with the styles which had me worried due to it might take the style away, but I took the risk because it's beta and it didn't. The style remained.
