Highest single hit damage on boss.

I haven't really seen much interest or any threads on this, so I decided to start one, basically using the caves boss as the example, vol dragon or whatever what is your highest amount of damage you've done on him in a single hit? I hit his head for 1253 earlier curious to see if anyone's hitting a lot higher than that.

Try to keep it on topic, it's a legitimate concern, I want to see what class is doing the highest amount of damage with what combination of weapons/pa, this isn't a contest of E peen, it's to determine what classes are expected to bring in the highest damage numbers, something to be aware of especially in the beta stage of a game, which also helps identify balance issues early on in the game.

Weakening Bullet on weak points get 2500 per Sneak Shot critical. I'm sure a fully geared Force with Photon Flare can do more in the same circumstance.

Wao, and my ranger is barely touching the 2k mark with that combo.. but yeah its about there with weak bullet xD

Wow, didn't expect Sneak Shot to do that much. The highest i've been able to do was about 1927 with Weak bullet plus a Critical attack that I can't remember with the launcher. The weak bullet mark was targeted at its face which I assume is pretty much the Rockbear's weakpoint.

(It's just a single shot but it has a much larger blast compared to a normal launcher shot. I'm sure many of you will know what it is.)

3425, In a 50% Fire Launcher +10 with Shot II on the Rockbear's face with Weak shot and Shifta Z. I can do way more damage than that with a Crack Shot in a stunned boss but I can't measure it. Mag just 28 ATA since I don't have much time to play.

Nah my brother hit a claims he hit a 1685 without the aid of weak bullet, I didn't believe him until I saw him hit a 1408 without the aid of weak bullet or any buff, so i wonder what he can do with weak bullet and a shifta boost. btw my brother used the wire lance "Izuna drop" (c'mon lets call it what it is), he also has Lance Gear.

The graphical quality some of you have to run the game at is just unbelievable. Thats not even playable. I've seen like 500's being the average. You guys hitting with that are insane. Im using a gunblade though so im more use to damage of like 70 to 120 lol :P

Rifles has a stronger DPS than Launchers, but as I said the main problem is not that the weapon suck but how hard is to find rifles that can keep up with the Attack status of the launcher, the drop rate is very bad and only accesible rares and the 7* Rifle YASMINKOV 7000 only in the emergency quest.

I knew RA was overpowered but it's to the point of being ridiculous. Hopefully that'll change before final release.

Highest I ever got was about 860 on Caterdran's body with Heavenly Fall (Wired Lance) but I found nothing good during the entire beta :lol: That and I didn't play RA.

I want to see this! It seems like Hunters are beating out the Rangers in highest hits I'm just curious if those hunters got weakening bullet to help them out with that damage too.

I heard about a 5k hit on Dark Range with RaFoie. Sounds about right to me. Weakening bullet applied on weak spot along with Photon Flare active.

I posted this in the screenshot thread, but here it is here. 3397 with Foie to Ragne. Its not quite optimal for Foie. I mean, with shifta and better equipment it would have been very easy to break 4000 with Foie vs Ragne/Rockbear. (This is also without Photon-Flare or Shifta or anything on a force that would boost that damage).

Meh, never hit anything past 2k myself. Kinda funny how hard we hit at lower level though.
