General Rule :
#1The purpose of this thread is to bring the most out of PSO2 unique and stylist model. You can post pictures related to character and weapon model here in your own way of showing.
#2The limit size to show picture is 1024px in wide. If you have larger picture than that, you should put on spoiler-box. Generally, it give better result if you crop your character from large background.
#3 Any constructive comment and criticize related to pictures are welcome, but please be sure not to cause any flaming or go over board to any individual inside the thread. Especially those who only want to ruin other works or just holding back this thread.
#4 Please refrain yourself from posting any battle-orient pictures or status orient pictures. (show off big number, or I got rare item) Those kind of picture will be moved to Screen Shot Thread.
#5 No hentai.

★Fashion Spot Light of the Month★

To celebrate our thread getting over 100 pages, 1000 posts.
I'm proud to announce our newest mini forum event "Fashion Spot Light".

Participation: every pictures that are posted here in this thread is considered automatically participated into the event. However, we would prefer the picture to be within 1024x size in wide, so that we could be able to put it on the first page without any resize later.

Score: the decision to choose picture will design by all the combination of the picture together including face, body, hair, clothes & parts, unit, weapon, pose, and background. Any picture match all of those aspect together the most from the opinion of judges team of that month will be chosen.

P.S. : Thank to certain sponsor, winner will receive 500 AC award each month. However, be aware that the true prize is your own achievement.

I was going to ask how there could possibly be a fashion thread when we're limited to 6 combinations for each fleshy gender, and 9 for each cast gender. But on opening this thread, my question was answered.

The color here in PSO2 clothes is unlimited by the trick of color change ticket (you got scroll bar to choose color). So it no longer to just limit to 10 of choices, and face customization are also much superior;

Fashion is never limited to combination of clothes only, it is also important of face/body/hair/ and unit/weapons combinations. PSU lately only released new 1 pieces full set clothes too anyway, and we have gone through that for years.

Anyway, I would prefer leave Q & A behind and let's us see some good pics.

Guys, thank for the input, but we have done things like this since long ago, and It is always the same. We start off with limit of whatever available clothes, then we will keep updating and input new clothing once they released. This way will allow things to not get boring quick.

Altho, the option now is much better than previous game anyway. customization is greatly enhance in character body itself, and that is very important. Are you thinking that your girl friend look pretty because of clothing? ;) Nah~, I think she looks pretty by combination of everything in her.

@Zorafirm, very agree!!

@PSO2 mod, if it is possible. Could you clean some no picture related posts? Normally we always make this thread with less discuss and more of pictures. Actually the rule I post in first page should be clear.

To answer your question about status orient, i think its like this:

We are limited in clothing, thats true. But we can mix up the colors, there are billions of possibilites to create faces. You can mix up all kind of hairs with accessoires and color it all.

Fashion is not only about clothing, if fashion for you is only about clothing you dont see the whole picture.

Fashion is about how you put together your Clothing, your face, your hair, your accesoirs and your weps and the colors of each.

I would appreciate it, if you people please stop with your "its to soon for fashion" comments, we got it. But still its our decision if we want to show off our characters and share with others. Or do you think because you think its to soon we all should wait?

And this isn't a contest lol. Basically it is a just show your character in fashionable way. that is all. Good to be able to see another side of your character other than just fighting-aspect. ^^

Haha, thanks for the feedback. I'll probably get screens of Chelsea today, haven't messed with Ranger much just because I've personally found Hunter to be more fun thus far, but we'll see.

You shouldnt feel bad for that. The only thing that matters is that you show your char :)

And you could always ask a person for help to "fancy up" some pics. If you really want that. Ny skills are pretty much limited but if you got an idea and want some help, call me :3

My ship 6 character, after I got the gold HUmarl outfit from AC Scratch. Fits surprisingly well with that "katana". Also using the stacked hats trick.

She's a remake of a melee FOcaseal I had on BB, though aged up. A bit. Also she's dropped the red and black outfit she usually wears. Looks a bit... western, now. There any saloons around here?

As I'm sure many of you are aware, this is Levia. She is the final result of a retired angel who experiments with creating new life. He's so proud of this particular creation, he considers her a daughter. He maximized her body and mind as much as he could, but she's most well known for being as comfortable underwater as she is on land. This makes her amphibious, but I prefer to call her a fish.
She's not an emotional being; her brain is wired differently. She's logic based, and is trained to make ethical decisions based on reason to make up for her lack of emotions. She always looks and acts sad, but that's just her personality. She matches it with an unnatural politeness.

Her weapon of choice are twin daggers, and has some training with polearms, due to that being her father's weapon of choice. She's able to use any weapon she's given, though. She prefers not to use guns, which she thinks of as unreliable, but will use them if necessary. She is unable to cast magic, but that's one rule I tend to throw away when using her as a character.

I've been using Levia for about ten years now, and her father for fifteen. Not alot about her actually fits, and there's a ton of young teenager thinking going into her description, but she's a character I love and can't let go of. So, to get rid of that bad fanfic taste in your mouth, here are a few shots with a polearm.

Since today is the last day, I decided to try out a couple more characters, since they won't be free in the live versions.

First off is Levia's dad. For now, I'm sticking with the name Zofael. The name is subject to change depending on my mood.

[spoiler-box]I wanted something elegant and manly with this character. Something that says, I'm a scholar, a fighter, and a gentleman. I have do say, force fits him pretty well so far. Force/hunter will probably be perfect for him.
He's fairly tall and muscular, but doesn't come off like a hulk (probably unless you compare him to anyone else. I haven't checked him against other models). I don't like how big his shoulderpads are, and that's an issue I seem to be having with any outfits with shoulderpads. In order to get small shoulders, you need a character with low muscles. And that's just something I'm not willing to do.

Bad fanfic story time? Zofael is an angel who left heaven out of curiosity. That's his motive, either curiosity or duty. He spends his free time learning or experimenting, trying to get as firm a grip on the physical world as possible. That's my explanation for his magic. It's not so much that he's learning ancient mystic arts, but more that he knows so much about physics that he's hacking the universe. And that's why I said Levia can't use magic last time. Zofael is a soul who can hack the universe. Levia, being an artificial, non-god made creation, has no soul or god given emotions, so she has no way of spell casting.
He's most well known for experimenting with life, and often grows his own pets. He even grows bodies. Because he's an angel, and purely a spirit, he doesn't have a physical body. So, to interact with things, he either needs to possess something, or makes a body for himself and possess that. Because of this, I'm free to design Zofael any way I like in whatever game he's in. In WoW, he's a female Draenei. He's just practical like that.
He's still an angel though, and still has that drive to help whenever he can. If he's busy doing something else, he sends Levia instead. This is usually the excuse I use to have Levia or Zofael in a game.

Personality wise, he's friendly, modest, intelligent, and serious. I usually think of a doctor when I try to personalize him. He knows how to get people to like him, and never thinks of himself any better or worse than anyone else. He tries to get people to think, and resolves issues by asking questions. He's always focused on either his current experiment, or helping some group of people, so he's rarely seen relaxed.

His weapons are water magic, and lance and shield, with two short swords ready as backup weapons. Water manipulation is a favorite tool of his, which he uses constantly. He uses water as a tool; to clean, keep pressure, and for precise cutting. He goes so far as to use water to make clothing and tools. His clothing is usually made of densified water, and Levia's favorite pair of swords are made from water. If he needs a source of water, he'll use his clothing or weapons. He prefers not to do this, since it's so hard to get it back together.
He also uses light magic, but can't use it often since he doesn't spend much time in heaven, which is his usual replenishing source of light magic. His favorite light magic is healing, and item enhancement. He's fond of his glowing lances.

Next is what's left of Newman Levia. The overly feminine movements make much more sense with this outfit than with Levia's metal casing, the hair moves more freely without the shoulder pads in the way, and it's nice not having to look at metalic joints every time I look at her knees. This outfit gives her a perfect frame; light, armored, and maneuverable. She looks wonderful from behind!
Still, the model is just too feminine, too commonplace. I need gills, fins, something aquatic! Something alien! I needed to add scars just so she doesn't seem so Mary Sue.
If nothing else, playing around with this model is a good way to see what I want in the caseal. I might make some changes later on to get the two closer together.

I think the face and proportions look good. The hair looks like it might be too dark or not saturated enough. Atleast for a red. I think that darkness works better with a purple/blue. But with a red it might be better to go a bit lighter so you can see the highlights/details better.

I like her look at a lot. She has a really good boyish thing going on. The only thing I can recommend is that action screenshots look better when motion blur isn't on. But you have to go into it knowing that you'll be taking screenshots if you're going to enjoy motion blur on. I think the 3rd and 4th picture capture her the best.

I actually like the 2nd character best. The blue compliments the blonde. I don't know how great she'd look in other outfits/colors though. Characters look a bit different in game, I don't know how well that over saturated red is going to look.

That color really works well for that outfit/style. She has a nice "native" feel to her with the dark skin and white hair. I would hide the arm unit (shield) though, it really detracts I think. I think the poses/angles you chose work really though, since that outfit tends to make characters legs look fat.

The HUnewm outfit is a really sexy look for the guys. I'm surprised that I haven't seen it used much, from screenshots - it seems like everyone is using either the HUmar or RAnewm sets.

I wish you could recolour outfits more in the Character Creator client... the default schemes are so limiting, but I've seen a lot of fantastic creations like this in the Beta.

Well, that's Levia's trademark. Even if I can't get anything else I want on her, she at least needs the sad eyes. You're right, it is really distinctive. That's exactly why I started it. You rarely see sad characters, and when you do, it generally contrasts everything else nicely.
It also gives kind of a "pet the kicked puppy" feeling to her, which I really enjoy.

But... Zofael too? That's a bit of a surprise. I tried to make him as happy as possible, without resorting to the wide eyes. I might have to take another look at that...

Well, Zofael doesn't necessarily look happy either. But its really more of a thing with the eyes, and you can't really see his eyes.

Research has been done into the subject and it was found that not only is the gender ratio pretty much equal, but the ratio of men playing women and women playing men is equal, pretty much, as well.

i would also suspect that the ratios of GBLTQ people is also equal to the population norms as well as all the other various types of people.

I should make it clear I just don't like the re-enforcing of the idiocy that is "gamers are primarily men" or are primarily anything. It hasn't been true for a long time and until people stop thinking it is true people won't start acting like it is true.

I find the bouncing breast images to be generally distasteful but not so much that its "horrible" just something I don't come to this site to see and don't really care to see it. I also think that OLAF post the same image over and over and over again which I find annoying, but I don't get in a tizzy over it. I just ignore it. Same with the bouncing boob gifs and the stupid rappy gifs. If I don't care to look at them I ignore them. That is what a grown up does when it doesn't hurt anyone.


But on the other hand if you want to stop people from posting pictures of DOA boob physic gifs you could always just start posting pictures of real girls' boobs bouncing OR penis dancing gifs. Those would be fun ^.^

That's fine, but if you find you are offending people you might want to look at the reason you are and wonder if it is something you should change. A lot of the people that are vocal think I'm an asshole. I've thought on that and I've decided that the reason they think that isn't something I'm ever going to change so I just accept it and get annoyed at them for being ignorant and at those people that agree with what I'm saying but do not step up.

Well, I admit, becoming aware of the needs of other people does take practice and awareness. I'm not perfect either, and I'm certainly a work in progress. I'm not gay, and I'm not trans; that being the case, I have privilege in society in those areas, and I have to actively be aware in the things I say and do to be kind to those people, and not use my privilege and unawareness of their reality to unconsciously hurt those people. You may not mean to hurt those people, but you can unintentionally do so very easily, due to your lack of awareness of the difficulties they face. It does take effort at first, but after awhile - and some corrections and sometimes verbal beatdowns from those people when you do accidentally offend them - you learn, and you become a better, more kind, more inclusive person for it.

If you think this will offend anyone, you're playing the wrong game. In recent years the Phatasy Star franchise has taken a wild turn in Fashion with its busty Casino outfit and ass hanging out and PSP2i with its devil lingerie and many many other slutty outfits.
These gifs show exactly what are in the game, I found them straight off the JP uploader and thought they were quite funny. This is based off Japan, a country full of fan service and Sega isn't holding back.
If you want change, attacking fans of this game on this forum isn't going to stop the thousands of panty shots and boob close-ups from the uploader. You would have to learn some Japanese and talk to the guys who approved all the programming.
The only differnence between a gif and several jpg's of someone's character in different poses, its how the computer reads each file.

I don't really care for boobs, and especially polygonal ones.

Because there wasn't such an issue in the previous fashion threads before, so I was forgetting to put up some rule about sexual problem. I feel sorry about what happening here.

I will not add rule to stop people to post their breasts, since to a lot of PSO2/PSU outfit have those reveal normally in their own style. However, I want people to stop posting picture that is intentionally made to just to show their own giant-over sized + unnatural breasts here. I don't find this is anything related to fashionable stuff at all, other than just fulfill sexual needed. So please bare in mind to not try to do that from now on. This is all for respect both gender.

What a coincidence. I was just messing around with my Caseal's colors, too. I find Velvet's new look disruptive, but not in a bothersome way. It's more of a "huh, check that out. Don't see that combination every day" uniqueness.

As for the Newman, the slightly sad/worried look is almost always a winner. It depends on some other things too, but she pulls it off pretty well.

LOVE these colors, the casts really give you a lot of ways to stand out and these kinds of color schemes are the best, too many people just go with the brightest most saturated versions of each color, (kind of like how most of the faces people make end up fitting into just a handful of anime types) but when you want something with character, it's all about the inbetweens!

Much nicer, due in no small part to the graphical boost, honestly :lol:. There's been some good Space Conan-looking characters. Shame I'm not into the making big ol' burly fellas, or I'd give it a try. Only giant-ass characters I like making are CASTs, hence why DARKDRIVE-X is like a bipedal tank.

Sooo here are some pics (Don't open all spoilers at the same time, some pics are huuuge but I didn't want to resize them so they'd be pretty detailed) <_<

I tried to take the main aspects of my old beast Aura from PSU and remake them into a FOnewm. I'm not sure what would I do if they actually decide to add beasts into the game, but it'd be possible that I make a secondary character called Aura with similar apperance. In any case I'm very happy with my newman-Aura for now.

I got a bit trouble making the face in a way I'd like it. At first I decided to go with the young/anime style but then I noticed that in the cut-ins she looked like a psychopath about to commit mass murder (http://i375.photobucket.com/albums/oo191/DarkiMousy/pso20120702_233853_000.jpg), so then I went for the adult/realistic face and tweaked it a bit to make it look pretty. I think I did a good job. :3

For the main outfit I decided to go with the FOmarl one, somehow the combination of that outfit and cowboy hat from the RAmar gave me some "moatoob-ish" feeling, kinda like a cowboy lady from the old "westerns", so I went with that. I like also how she looks in those other three outfits, although the HUnewearl one is the one I like the least. I think is mostly becausde of the hat, it would be nice that the hat was tied to the outfit and you could swap hats with them, instead of having to go to the makeup shop for that.

My second favorite is the RAnewearl one, it looks sexy and the hat matches too. xD

Annnd last battlepose. I like the combination of that blue gunslash with the armor units I picked, but sometimes it gives me the feeling of a chewing-gum. <_<

I miss my butt taco dress so much, but I am fairly happy with this. It would be even better if I could have my hair teal fading to blue fading to purple fading to violet like my hair is IRL but this teal is nice.

actually you could try some part and color adjustment to make her look little more KOS-MOS. I helped my friend (who I got access to her account) to make KOS-MOS before in the past. not that good, but we still did our best with all the limited customization in PSU.

I don't see that at all, and am not sure how you are, but you are free to your opinion. >w<

I'm happy with how my character looks, and although her emphasis is on a black/white outfit as opposed to one with more blue mixed in,
I feel that it carries the feel of KOS-MOS's outfit much better than an attempt at mimicking the same color scheme due to having limited control in color details of particular objects on individual parts.

Also, the black and white contrast compliments the red and blue contrast between the hair and eyes which gives a look I like a lot. :3

If you are referring to something other than the outfit color scheme, I'm not sure what to say as I feel that my character has fair proportions.
(With the exception of being a bit taller, which I did to maintain the height ratio KOS-MOS has with her rather short companions, hehe~)

I came to the conclusion that the problem with my low res screenshots are due to my not-so-big monitor screen.

which leads me to the conclusion that the solution is hardware oriented...which makes me sadface :c . But maybe there's one extra monitor in the house...imma check.

I don't think we've had a scary caseal in a while. And definitely not one with pink pigtails. It's actually quite interesting how creepy you made her. The full eyes, expressionless gaze, and large neutral mouth all add well to the effect, as well as the spiked eyelashes.

What makes them a CAST and a Caseal? I mean, I haven't seen any, *ahem* on CAST, so wouldn't they all be Caseal? Don't tell me it's the chest. I've seen plenty of flat Caseals...
