Everytime that ship shows up in a quest (the ship that drops the health regenerator device.) the screen turns black the game stops and this error shows. Can anyone read this error?

It's saying there's some sort of interaction with another application. Try closing other applications and making sure your anti-virus/firewall has an exception for PSO2 (or temporarily disable it while playing).

I turned off my firewall and closed all applications but I'm still getting the same error.

When you open the launcher, click the 3rd option down (ファイルチェック- File Check) to see if maybe something got messed up during the install or a patch.

Tried that too and it still crashes. With or without the English patch as well.

Check your driver for your display adaptor isn't out of date. I had that problem too.

I have the latest driver according the the HP website

I have a pavilion dm4-1165dx laptop with Windows 7 64-bit

With the latest driver "Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver ►
2010-12-03 , Version:8.15.10.2189, 78.05M" according to the website http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=4308943#N369

I turned off Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Firewall.

I already updated the BIOS

Still getting the same error...

You could try fully uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Maybe some files got botched in the installation.

lol boo....
does this only happen in MPA, multi party areas? if so this may be a driver problem.

... and if your haveing a driver problem go check the support section of your PC's vendor for the latest update. if that doesn't work, check the graphics card manufacturer's website. worked for me.

That's not the latest driver, it's 2 years old [2010]. I had the same problem with the exact same intel driver, my computer told me it was the latest driver and wouldn't update. I had to uninstall the driver (twice), and then it automatically updated to the newest driver somehow which is ver: 8.15.10.2622, 10/11/2012

Other people have had this issue and found this solution works. Guaranteed 100% if you do this it will work.

lol i might add that manufacturer driver pages are pretty bad about keeping up to date with drivers.

better to get the drivers from the actual company itself i.e. intel, instead of depending on HP's website.

I uninstalled the 2010 HP graphic driver and installed the 2012 Intel graphic driver and the problem is solved! Thanks a lot! You made my day!

Oh god hp...

I use an HP laptop too, but it had switchable graphics (which, is probably the WORST MECHANIC I'VE EVER OWNED), so it can dynamically switch between the intel and the radeon GPUs. Despite that, the radeon GPU would still cause lag, unless I force the laptop to use only the radeon.
Even then, minecraft kept crashing because lolhpwon'tupdatetheirdrivers. so I grabbed some third party drivers and now it's working with less driver crashes

tl;dr - Don't use intel GPU unless it's your only option right now.
