I was goofing around with the CC, since I can't exactly play, and I had an idea. For the first time ever, I could have a go at making myself in game! I might even play as myself, who knows!

Either way, here's a picture of me, accompanied by my PSO2 rendition of myself, what do you guys think?

You guys should try this too, I'd love to see how this turns out.

how did you get in the city with the character creator? i thought the benchmark test only used the generic character+^_^+

Your character will be placed in the benchmark if you click on the bottom left hand side button of the character creator menu which should look like "次へ” .

It was kind of hard to get the proportions right. I can't get the right shoulder to arm proportions. And I don't have the right options for eyebrows nor eyelashes. But it's an attempt.

It's still challenging, though. Trying to find reference pictures of yourself in the right poses, trying to modify various things on the creator to get the right look... It got tougher than what I normally do to create characters.

The bolded/enlarged words do not apply to me, as I don't socialize with other people, and I have no friends in which to take pictures with in my everyday life. So, there's two reasons.

But, the whole 'I'd rather not show off my monkey face to a bunch of people I don't consider friends' (because I do consider some people here friends, but not all) trumps those facts anyway.

But you're not really posting any information.... you're just showing how you could possibly look like. Maybe even post a picture that isn't you =p or a friend, etc.

It's not like you have to post yourself we don't even know how you look like so how are we to know for sure ? It doesn't hurt to try, but yeah I don't see exactly what information you are giving out other than how you look like which is by far not much information at all in any regards to you. Any pictures you post on social websites despite it being only able to show to friends actually get seen by many advertising agencies that are on facebook or other social networking sites, especially advertising agencies associated with their apps, I would know I work for one. It is actually safer to post your picture on a forums website rather than a social networking site, people on here will most likely just look at it instead of do anything creepy like save it to their hdd or on their server, which those advertising agencies tend to do =p, any pictures of you in swimsuit/drunk/etc. on there and I'm sure they have those by the dozen it's just the reality of the internet.

I think this is one of the closest ones I've seen so far.... it's almost like I'm looking at a mirrored image of you through an Anime mirror of sorts, looks just like you.

My self esteem just died looking through all of these posts. It went from "I wonder how good the character creator is" to "I wonder who else looks better then me".
I might get around to displaying my ugly face eventually though, I already know you cant make an "oreo" in the character creator.. unless I get a bigger afro...

I totally wanted to make a girl and say "What I wished I looked like." I decided against it as I can't even make myself. Here was my attempt.... and me for realz. I don't take many pictures, espicially of my face so this is all you get!

Also didn't realise how wide much dead space was on the character photo.

Don't be down on yourself, I am sure you look great! :) And I also think we could use some more curly hair options. (Not like, what WASPs consider curly hair, but actual textured hair. I imagine that would be hard to render, so I'm not expecting that any time soon, haha!)

In all seriousness, my cheekbones are too wide to be presented in the game properly, as far as I could get the character creator working. Maybe I need to do more fiddling, but it was hard to make myself because the other features of my face kept warping, and then my jaw/chin were too small and my eyes were too big/deeply set... ...and, it wasn't working. :(

That bugged me, too. There's no option to make the face wider.
