Shorter ponytails too, and maybe even a side ponytail. I'd also like to see more shoulder-blade-length or mid-back-length hair. Something with swept bangs would be pretty cool too.

Males need more variety, period. I'd love to see some good longer hair and more medium-length options.

Male hairstyles need something of a crew-cut, and a faux-hawk. If we get mohawks, why not?

Fortunately, changing hairstyle didn't cost AC in the beta so if that holds true, I'll just rotate hairstyles in game like I always did with outfits in PSU :P Variety is fun.

With Cocona I originally wanted to give her her original hairstyle (http://images.wikia.com/artonelico/images/4/49/Cocona_At3.jpg), but none of the available twintails do her justice and I kinda like her better when she has her hair down in her supermove anyway.

These are all great ideas I hope will make it. Being a beautician myself, I've been let down by the available hairstyles in PSU more than in PSP2/i. Does anyone miss the sprayed-out updo from PSO's HUnewearl? It's in my profile pic. That was my favorite style, the long waves being the next. PSU had styles similar to these, but not my taste as far as Aki goes. The updo was too short and Tinkerbell-like. Then the waves were too short as well. I do use curly pink pigtails similar to the ones you posted. On my Beast, Megumi(Gum), not Aki.

I think it would be nice if you could mix different bangs with different back styles. There were some hair that I liked a lot but didn't like the bangs or vice versa.

As terrible as some of the hairs were in PSU that was a really nice feature.

I wish they had two different options, instead of combining them both into one. Instead of having hairs 1-25, they should have had hair1 1-5, and hair2 1-5. It really clogged up the menu having so many hairstyles.
But I agree, being able to customize both the front and the back like that was really neat.

I definitely concur with the 'multi-color' hair idea... or highlights, people do put some pretty narly streaks in their hair... :D Would give even more unique-qualities to the characters...

Yeah daftpunk's style pretty much got me into french house and then I moved on to electro house in general...

It's a pity you're so limited in the choice of "partner", but that's just technical limitations, not much that can be done there.

But instead of implementing it properly and sensibly, they've gone with a stupid as all hell waifu simulator with free ecchi shots thrown in there every now and then for the sake of f**k all.
And of course, as if it wasn't obvious enough already that the main target audience are horny teenagers, every single mf'ing "hero" in the line is, of course, male.

They could have worked it out a bit better yeah I agree. Well you do get to marry any girl left in your party at the 5th generation but that is only because it's the last one. And to be honest, I don't mind fan service at all. Matter of fact I enjoy it a lot of times, just haven't seen it much I games, seen it more then enough in animus though.

ugh i love legends, i cried when they canceled legends 3. it looked like it was coming along so well too. damnnn dammnnn dammnnn!!

also, i like others have mentioned, a hair slider would be nice. not sure why they couldn't do this. they could make two hair sliders.

one for general hair length

the other for bang length. those two alone seem like they could add nice variety, and it doesn't seem -too- difficult to implement.

Why don't they make Hair Sliders.

The first controls the length of hair. From bald to Knee length.

The second controls thickness of hair. From thin to coarse.

The third controls curlyness(?). From straight to curly.

The fourth controls hair color. It will be the color box like for armor.

The fifth controls hair style. It will have a box molder(like the body parts have), it changes the hair style(a ponytail becomes a side pony or any other pony their is etc, etc)

I don't see how you'd do a hair length slider myself without the hair looking stretched, oddly layered, and completely straight throughout. It would be extremely difficult for a slider to generate waves and slight variations in hair, like here (http://i933.photobucket.com/albums/ad172/butterflyseraph/PSO2/pso20120503_154850_028.jpg), and still be able to come up with whatever hair length you wanted. It's far too complicated a job for just a slider.

It DOES look megaman zero-ish, but other than the hair and artstyle, it looks like something female casts get too much of.

Otherwise yeah, anime helmets are always welcome.

PSO2 already looks to have the best hairstyle selection in PSO entire history. Though it would be cool if they added authentic hairstyles from PS I-IV characters too, that would diversify hairstyles even more. :burger:
