I really don't see how you can give a resemblance between otherwordly animals and humans/newmans/CASTs, but A+ for effort (mostly because you attempted my favorite Pokemon).

lol, there wasn't a whole lot of ideas to make characters at the top of my head to make off of, but Pokemon gave a wide base to work with.

Yes, it wouldn't be right to clog up the forum, but this topic is just specialized for creating characters with Pokemon themes.

I guess I just don't see it as well as other people do. I can't separate my mind from the idea that they simply aren't Pokemon, and are PSO2 characters. Not saying they look stupid, but I can't force much of a resemblance onto them.

Also, my favorite Pokemon is Metagross, if you must know.

Wow I find these really cool looking. I like how when I look at the characters I can tell what pokemon it is. The only problem is that sometimes I don't understand your rational for choosing how the character looks (genetically). Like When I think Espeon I think something mystical and elegant. But all I see is a bright purple little girl. My suggestion is maybe think of the Pokemon's personality and fit it in more. Maybe I'm just me though lol.

That's what I wanted to aim for before making Espeon, but PSO2 doesn't have a lot of make-up or features that gives off the mystique feel (but PSO had Foney sets and costumes that could give that feel); I only could make the eyes so large to support those features.

Spi - you can make Espeon more Mystique and elegant within the lines of how it looks to a point. I did it myself, didn't save it but can easily remake it "IF" I want to I did two others too. But just saying it's Possible just keep it closer too what they are and not PSO2'ish. Try using more Cast's There the best for at least 70% of them if not more. I've made at least 3+ totally different Races with them in PSO2.


Lol - well, I guess it's good thing if you want Pikachu to scare the darker's right or your foe in PvP if there is one.

Omega-z: Yeah, I can understand that casts perform a better job at replicating a theme, but I don't like the idea of consistently using them when fleshies and other sexes are available to fulfill a theme.

I think it would lose the cuteness of the character, and yes I had that thought myself and would be easy to see it that way too since I design it to go both way's. mine's more teenage around 17ish not child like.
