It's a winter version of the Green Forest, some over lap is to be expected. And while we're getting enemies that share looks, we don't actually know if they're going to share the same behavior, unless some extensive Gameplay has been shown of those enemies that I'm not aware of....

Also, I'm gonna be that person: While the Yedes do look extremely similar to the Rockbears, they aren't carbon copies. So, it might not be as bad as ya'll are making it out to be.

i cant wait to do missions in the Snowy Field!!! I love it! Remind me of the snow and icey planet of DEZORIS from Phantasy Star Ps II, and Ps IV on the ol' Master System and Genesis/Megadrive! Too awesome! I'm loving this so far!

Yea no kidding, the entire Snow Field Area looks like a re-skin of the Forest Area. I might be jumping the gun here though.

This is because it's another area on the exact same planet

Just in case you missed that.
I'd guess it's somewhere closer to the large mountains you can see in the background in the forest area.

Would be cool if the river randomly freezes up when it snows and lets you slide across it.

Kinda like how the river in the forest sometimes has a current when it rains.

Probably a 50/50 gun jumped to gun not jumped ratio, there are portions of the snow zone that are merely snowy forest, but if you look at the rest of the pictures that are on 4gamer there is also a very icy Metroid Prime'ish canyon area full of icicles and fancy blue geode sorta rocks and shtuff! and while there ARE snow wolves and abominable rock bears, there are also these new leopard monsters and the angry elephant thing!

Overall I'd say that if they have a brand new boss than this is a VERY legitimate new area!

Anyways the last screen. Those 2 skills from the Ranger? Looking kinda Shifta-Debandish to me.
