Is the beta time frame adjusted for daylight savings time

I live in Arizona, we do not observe daylight savings, and the EST beta time was going to end at 8:00 am, which would be 9:00 am Arizona time. But when I tried to log in around 8:30 (just to check it out really quick and to mainly see if the password I normally use is my sega ID password). Did anyone else run into issues or had the beta ended at 8:00 am AZ time?

I know, I tried to play this morning at 8:30am Arizona time, which is 7:30am, and subsequently 10:30am EST...

Arizona and California are on the same time right now, man. I live in California and my fiancee lives in AZ, that's how I know.

I live in Costa Rica which is 2 hours behind EST. The servers were on and off exactly at 9:00 EST and 11:00 am EST.
