Ok! So I have a few questions so bare with me. I just didnt want to make four different threads.

#1 First is that I have a HUcast female and playing with the keyboard. Now during the Pre-beta it wasnt that bad at all but not something I want to do long term.
So I was thinking of just plugging in my wired 360 controller and using that. So for the people who use xbox controllers, how is it and how does it work?
Is the right analog camera, and left pad movement with the R and L as attack?

#2 Next is that when I made my character in game (didnt use the CC client) I made the skin color kind of a pale pink (like normal skin color) but in game it looks more gray. So I deleted it and added more orange to the skin color but still doesnt look right in game. But I do see people with really nice characters, so how did you make the skin color work in game?

#3 Another is, can only certain Casts use that rocket boost thing on their legs? or can all Casts do that? I believe I saw a FOcast and Racast use it, but couldnt figure out if my HUcast could.

#4 And last is, I was wondering how to zoom or do a free moving camera to take nicer screen shots?

1. The wired 360 controller is plug-n-play. Thats what I use and haven't had any issues.

2. You CC file needs to be in the MY DOCUMENTS/SEGA/PHANTASYSTARONLINE2 folder.

3. All Casts can use it you just can't choose it in the CC. You have to choose it in the actual game when you're editing your character. The option is near the bottom of the list.

Yes, Right analog is CAMERA movement. No the Shoulders don't attack. Shoulders do things like sub pallete, lock-on, weapon action and dodge.

The only answer I understood was the last one, I dont think you read the others right. But its ok. Ill look for it when the open beta starts thanks.

Ill let others chime in to help with the rest

This is what it looks like In-game:

Sometimes it will look slightly grey if you're in the shadows like here:

Oh I see~ how does the camera movment work? I would think the right analog is camera since, for some cases you need to look down from a birds eye view. While in PSO1 the bumper just kept moving the camera behind you.

Oh thats perfect! Yes that skin looks great! Much better then mine. Even in forest sunlight it looked gray and dark, or from any angel looks dark and gray. That helps a lot!

Also how did you take though screens? Like how did you zoom in? I was trying to figure it out during the pre-beta

I thought you were asking did the 360 controller work good. This may help

You almost sound like you never played a videogame in the last 10 years. The controls are like in a FPS game but you can see your character.

It was a huge typo from me. I'm still waking up here. = =; It is left stick for movement, right stick for camera movement.

The first one is from a cut-scene.

The other two..... well there IS a zoom but there's basically only 2 levels of zoom... which is really annoying.... + and - on the numpad switch between the two zoom levels. And you can also change the height of the camera in settings so that you're not staring at your character's butt the whole time if you're playing zoomed-in.

Here's how I play (camera-angle wise):

Numbering your questions would've made it easier to answer them. I thought you were asking did the 360 controller work good. To your first question have to played any videogames in the last couple of years? It pretty much uses the FPS controls.
Sorry I thought saying "first, next, another, and last" was enough but I changed it~ Ill let others chime in~ thanks though

[edit] ehh sounds like i put some mean attitude in that. I mean no disrespect of course. But thanks for the help on the jets on the boots thing.
