I'd like to hear your opinions. I assume Casts have the ability to detect traps once again?

Pyrii

Nope. They don't ping till I'm under them and by then, if I'm not moving away, it's too late.

CASTs have Rocket skates... Humans Don't.

In return on the Male Side, Human don't look like retarded evangelion gundams.

Space elf fetish being a plus for newman, is optional.

ROCKET SKATES... EVERYONE WANTS THEM.

Humans suck at everything, as usual.
Newmans get higher magic, lower physical. They get knife-ears and baby faces.
Casts get higher physical and ranged but lower magic. They can also hover.
Stats were all balanced so they don't particularly matter anymore.

I believe you just contradicted yourself within the same paragraph. Are they balanced or are there differences?

No humans are more awesome at everything D<

I think we get more HP to

We also made your stupid game, racist.

Also Rock Eastwood is supposed to have Hoverskates... Which is why I'm mad that there's no humanoid CAST parts.

They're different. But balanced.

They all do the same shit just as well no matter how you try to crunch numbers that make up their small difference.

Hence why I only talked about aesthetics.

The differences are very minor. 3~5 point differences on average when it comes to it.
When it is between the male and female counterparts, there is no difference or a single point of difference.

Buri-chan summed it up well enough. Humans have average stats overall. Casts get more range and physical damage and HP. Newmans get more Magical stats and lowest HP of all.
Defense stats are very minor between all 3.

Races do have different stats, but they're in the realm of 4~8% variances between the worst and best race for each class. For example, the biggest stat difference is between a FOcast's TATK and a FOnewearl's TATK: 12%.

If you want to min/max, HUcast, RAcaseal and FOnewearl are the "best" race/class combinations. Otherwise, it's not a big deal.

I like it when people completely look past my post, and pretty much say the EXACT thing I just said, but in a different way. :D

It bothers me how the races are all basically the same now. I liked casts not being able to cast magic. It was a nice world building touch.

Humans get round ears.

Newmans get pointed ears.

Casts get poor male customization, and the ability to chose the color of almost everything on them. Also, hover skates.

That's pretty much the biggest differences there. If you want gameplay customization, look at the skill trees.

so these hover skates can you turn them on/off or is it a one time choice in character creator?

Zorafim
Jun 19, 2012, 03:32 PM
Yes.

I'm sure there's an option in the beauty parlor to toggle them.

There is, and if memory serves I think it was free.

Is there somewhere with the stats of all class at level 20?

Humans are balanced, Newmans excel at Techs and PAs, and Casts are more physically powerful.

Doesnt that table show dumans (ヂュマーン)? I don't remember being able to create a duman

It sucks that CASTs are no longer able to regenerate.

They got the best of five stats instead. Not exactly a harsh trade-off.

Wow, I lucked out big time picking a female CAST planning on playing Hunter and Ranger.

I mostly plan on taking Ranger and Force to compensate for the HP regeneration loss and the fact that I mostly go solo.

This is a big reason why I didn't make a Cast. Don't understand how engineers can construct sleek, streamlined, human-proportioned female Casts but think it's a tactical benefit to make male Casts as big and bulky as frackin' trucks.

so if i make a fonewman ill still be able to dish out "decent amounts of damage with gunslash?"

id rather be a newman if it didnt afect my odd of surviving much...

They probably expected all those bulky parts to open hatches and spew missiles everywhere. Then the budget got in the way.

Doesn't look like it apply anymore.

Unless ATP = melee attack, ATA = range attack, etc.

edit: from the same site I found this http://pso2diary.blog.fc2.com/blog-category-11.html but doesnt look pso2... (http://pso2diary.blog.fc2.com/blog-category-11.html)
but doesnt look like pso2... (more race than the 3, but saying it is duman..? not yet implemented??) I guess it is pso2 after all.

Duman data has been in the game since the Benchmark/Character Creator was released. They just haven't shown up in the actual game yet. Also, note the fact that your link was created 4/18, so it is most likely not up to date anymore.
