View Full Version : Corrupted my PSO2 installation ;;_;;

I didn't notice that my laptop was working on its battery while download the latest patch for the open beta, my laptop switched off and my installation got corrupted.

Now im getting this error.

if someone could send me the "pso2launcher.exe" file, i would be so happy :D

Go to the folder PSO2 is in and try reverting to the .bak files. I had a similar issue with my client at the start of the POBT, and reverted the three exe files. It fixed the problem just fine.

Thats why i never run mine on battery unless there is no AC power around, don't want mine turning off on me or going into hibernate mode

uninstall and launch the setup again, and then patch it

Tried that and it didn't work.

And it seems that I can still run the game directly from the pso2.exe with the "-pso2" parameter. It even gives me the the latest version number.

That error means "pso2launcher.exe is already running"

Open your task manager and close down the one that's running in the background :P

I run into a problem when the .bak files show up XD it doesn't let me run the launcher after the .bak's show up any idea how to fix this? (other then redownloading entire game over and over again in order to play/launch)
