It means that your SEGA ID is wrong.

I feel the same way as OP. This community feels way better then the sega forums. I've had so much help getting started and I feel like all of my questions have been answered. Also would like to thank the many of you who have been posting guides for us to use. PSO 2 FTW!

oh i have that i would think it would detect it automatically. its gonna take me awhile to config that aaaah! noooooo!..

If you have the drivers for your 360 controller installed already (as in it works on your computer in other games/etc), then it will auto-detect it. You switch between keyboard/mouse and 360 controller by pressing scroll lock if I remember correctly.

You really don't need to use joy to key to use your 360 controller. But if thats the easiest way, by all means. ^^
