Game crashing on character creation

after the intro cutscenes and onto the character creation my game automatically crashes,nothing shows up that says the game had an error or anything.Maybe i should try playing the game on full screen?

I seem to be having the same problem. ive already set all my sliders, shader, etc to minimum. here's my specs:

Windows 7, service pack 1
Intel i5-2410M CPU @ 2.3 GHz
6GB of RAM
64-bit operating system
and a radeon graphics card.

In the launcher choose the second option and set the slider to 1. Worked for me.
