Since it's japanese I don't know how to type out the characters in the image authentication to log in. Anyone know how to do this?

Yeah, I'm having the same issue. I can't seem to match the image, lol. Although they clearly look JUST like them. xD

EDIT: Nevermind I got it. <3

It seems to me that the main reason people have trouble with these is they're confusing characters that look alike. EG: め (Me) and ぬ (Nu).

As funny as it sounds, it helps me a LOT to give the characters goofy nicknames.

ぬ (nu) becomes "trinity thingy with a loop"
め (me) becomes "trinity thingy without a loop"
ん (n) becomes "L with a curvy bottom"
え (e) becomes "7 with a kickstand and a line over it"

Does anyone else do this?

う is not ぅ I've never had a captcha that uses a 'lower case' character

せ and ぜ can be hard to tell apart with all the scratches over a captcha.... sometimes it's a guess w .

But yeah, loops and stroke count is how I do it.

Btw, the captcha to get to the registration page is the easy part. The name/address in the right characters and completeness can give you fits.

This is exactly what I do, but my names are more formulaic than yours, heh. Stuff like "Dash-dash-line," "Dash-dash-squiggle," "H-squiggle," "H-loop," etc.

I just learnt the alphabet.
Doesn't take long either.
