Cost AC if Delete Character to make new one.

I am one who got into ship two but my son couldn't so I want to delete my character from ship two to join a ship where my son and I can team together.

Question is. . . if I delete my character, will I be charged AC to recreate him or is that charge only for those who want a second character?

You'll only need AC if you're going to create a second character.
Your first character is free.

I think it is the intention that you only get charged to add a 2nd character. It would be a bug otherwise. Sega knows people would just end up making new SegaID accounts all over the place, just to redo the same character, otherwise. Especially since changing your one and only character wouldn't exactly have the same implications of dealing with player messaging than if a player had multiple characters across multiple accounts. So obviously, people would want multiple characters on the same account instead. But for just one character, they'd change in a heartbeat.
