no sound when I start up

Theres no sound at all from the game when I start up, any help?

Likely a Direct X issue, I've seen multiple cases of an outdated DX causing no sound in PSO2. Try updating that and running it again.

thank you I'll give that a try once I remember how to update haha and then I can get on ship 2 once it opens its doors
