Client Quests?

Ok I understand how to get client quests and I can tell which mission they are on but, after I complete a mission it still says i have client quests for that mission. For example I did the first mission (the level 3 one) and completing it I turned in like 1 client quest and went back to do more missions to find out I still have quests on that mission? I pretty much searched the entire mission and did everything to find out I didn't complete everything D: Are there some missions that you have to use items or something? idk how to complete some of these quests.

Some missions require you to kill a certain number of monsters from a specific area or collect a certian number of items from a specific monster. It will show you as having quests in an area if you that area contains the monsters that are required for your drop.
