MAG Help/Pallete Expansion?

Im going for a ability mag just cause I want a mag that shoots bullets X) but I noticed something if i want pure ability what should I feed it? if I give it discs it adds to the 4th bar of the mag, if I give it room items it adds to the second? should I strictly feed it discs?

And lets say I wanted a Brogile Ability/Skill mag what should my mags diet be? o.0

Also how do i get the 3 extra slots in the weapon pallete?

For ability only discs.

For the 3 extra weaponslots do the client order where you have to get 3 quest items from the Caterdra'n boss. (caves)

The order of mag stats are as follows

Strike Attack
Ranged Attack
Tech Attack
Ability
Strike Defense
Ranged Defense
Tech Defense

i didn't understand how that quest goes....

i mean how do i get caves in the first place?

So does the level disc make any difference? and what if I wanted a Brogile type would I feed it just Striking discs?
