On Moving Characters & Item Codes

As lots of you know, you can't move characters between servers. However, at the end of today's (22nd) maintenance, you'll be able to create characters on previously closed servers. The question of item codes has come up though and Sega has outlined (http://pso2.jp/players/news/?id=95) what's going to happen to all your item codes if you decided to change ships.

You will lose the ability to use any item you've inputed during the open beta if you change ships but when the game officially launches, you'll be able to reuse any of the item codes that have been issued so far. These:
Rocket Punch/Nacht
Anti A. Rifle/Nacht
Piko Piko Hammer/Nacht
Lord Axion/Nacht
Gaebolg/Nacht
Rappy Mini Doll
Weapon Hologram
Bouquet Rifle

The FUN points are shared between all servers so the 500 FUN tickets will not be reissued.

I am a little annoyed that i can't move servers with the same character, however there's nothing stopping people making a different sega ID and leveling another character on another ship :)
