The problem is that just like in that link. I'm positive they need to register themselves as a partner NPC before you can invite them. Which a lot of people don't know how to do. Hopefully people see this thread.

I registered, I think if people use your NPC you get fun points.

Only one of the people on my card list has an NPC registered.
