10+ weapon

So I just saw my first +10 weapon a few minutes before servers went down. It was a spear that I have never seen on anyone, it's not even on jp wiki yet. Stats were insane 310 atk, 3 abilities. The person even had 2 armor pieces +10. Anyone else have any luck making a +10 weapon or armor?

Got my Gae Bolg/Nacht to +8 at one point, then failed, re-grinded, failed, re-grinded, etc.

I have the 4 star katana style sword at +10 at the moment sitting at a decent 281 atp X) ill get screen shots eventually, i'm pretty lucky when it comes to grinding (even back in psu with my agito repca X) ) and I'm thinking of doing a gunslash next (pretty nice one it looks like a sword X) )

I know which one your talking about! it's got a triangular blade style, i have the gunslash variant of it (and wanting the sword variant)

Sounds like it. Its looks like a stone arrow tip or something. Do you have a picture of it?

It cannot be a Berdysh, since that one reaches 250 ATK at +10. No clue if Basileion reaches more than 300 ATK at +10, but still...that partisan is not yellow but red, lol. Perhaps he saw a +10 Sachs o_O.

Nice! How easy was it grinding items assuming you grinded more then that?

i have a +10 launcher with shooting II for sale at the moment for about 150k.
it has 308 damage. its still not sold so be sure to check it out after maintenance :)

edit: it also has 21 element, the one with the purple eye, (dark?)
to my suprise it only failed 2x from +0 to 10

I also grinded a 4-star launcher to +10 in Pre-OBT. It's not hard at all until you get to around +7 or so, then you run the risk of losing grinds if you fail.

Though, grinding in PSO2 is easier than in PSU.

By "10+" do you mean a weapon grinded to +10? If you do, you should put the + in front of the number since the current way you have it makes me think that you're talking about something that is more than 10...

It's definitely possible, especially with grinders being not too hard to find. I was able to get my Breaker (the giant slab sword) up to +10 in Pre-Open Beta on my first try.

I've gotten some +10 stuff here, but I swear it gets a bit annoying and expensive if high grinds tend to fail. My first +10 was a Halberd that I previously upped its % to 50 and then I decided to give it a try on the grinds...of course, I had to fail 9->10 like 4 times before that damn thing decided to fully grind, lol. The biggest irony here is that when I tried to +10 an Alba Partisan and an Alba Halberd, both made it to +10 pretty straight forward >.>

I actually already have two weapons +10'd, my rod and a gunslash, both two-star commons but with decently high elements (25+%).

I thought this sort of thing was common... it's rather trivial to do it if you have enough grinders and enough meseta.

This person has a +9 Gungnir partisan listed in his inventory. It's 271 ATK, and well...perhaps it can reach 300+ ATK at +10.

Don't forget weapons of the same name can have different bast atk with differences up to 30 atk from what i've seen at least :)

grinding fails only reset the weapon back to +0 or does it -1 total grind as well? Couldn't quite tell by reading everyone's posts. Thanks.

Grinding fails reduce the grind by 1 (doesn't reset to 0), and I could be wrong but I think this only happens on grinds past +5. Total grind is unaffected.

Grind failing has a chance to reduce the number of grinds so even if you fail you could lose no grinds, one grind, or even two.

Oh wow, I might get into grinding then xD, lol I found a pretty nice sword from dragon with like 5 abilities. errr attributes or whatever they're called, the only one I recognize is the big HP + 30 hahaha everything else I'm like O.o

Nope, it is not Berdysh. in Hard forest, they have another kind of 4* spear. OP said it is not in wiki, and so does this one. Which is why I assume it is.

They really should make grinding harder at higher levels. Like more risk or something, its current system is too easy IMO.

Failure will not "break" the item, how much bonus it loses, depend on the star rarity of the weapon, 7+ star can lose -3 per failure grind.

It either drop from desert free explored area, or hard mode forest. those are the only 2 mission I did before I notice it on my inventory.

But then after discussing with my friend who also got it and we guess that it is Hard forest monsters.

I think I saw that spear on the description of a mission if I'm not mistaken, you know of the right side of the window while you're selecting missions. Does the gear that shows up there mean you can find it in those missions? Also thanks for clearing up how grinding works for me.

It means you can find them in that mission. You can see a 6 day record of all the drops for any particular mission from the mission counter.

It's a shame you got godly attributes on one of the weakest swords in the game. Transfering them will most likely result in a failure, since +20 stat transfers are already as low as 60% success rate.
