So, what's the highest you've hit an enemy for, with what, and against what?

My record is 1500 with Freeze Ignition 5 against some tiny little thing. I'm not sure if it was a crit since the text was white.

Meh, not much... at level 15 with somewhat crappy wand and level two Foie, I normally do over 600 to those little spider bastards in the Caves, but I expect it to get much better once I get used to the shops, get some money from my crap and buy some good techs. <_<

1300 against a rockbear, i was lvl 11 and using a rifle+^_^+

2400 something against Catardran using Weak Bullet Lv3 and Weak Hit Advance Lv5. I'm not using anymore SP, though (used 11) and that was at Lv20 with a 4* rifle. A Lv30 ranger with a 7* rifle could do much better. There's Shifta, too.

I sniped Dark Ragne's weakpoint for about 3000 damage with Weak Bullet level 4, Weak Hit Advance level 5, and a 4* Rifle.

Weak Bullet is my friend.

Eh, only 1890 w/o weak shot, and 3997 I believe with. Usually Guwana and any lower boss. I'll have to check my record to find out my max damage again.

I don't really count these things since there's weak shot and all of that jazz. One of my friends DID manage 4000+ with a launcher though.

Won't see any high numbers with me. I'm a Partisan-based Hunter, so I generally hit low numbers but at fast attack rates.

Yeah, I know what you mean, my partisan isn't as good.
I get about 1400 with partisan PA and 3300 with Weak shot. I still really like the partisan though, b/c there's damage PAs that don't disable (which works well with another hunter).

I'd like to know too. Even with weak shot, I'm only doing about 50 damage with my level 16 ranger. That adds up to about 150 damage per attack with my rifle).

Most I've ever done with normal shots is about 100 damage per shot on the dragon when I weak shotted him in the nose.

The buckshot blast thing does about 350 if I get a good shot in.

The numbers are with PAs in mind, they aren't normal hits. The normals we do are about 200~300 ish. Also, I believe I mentioned it was from grinding a decent weapon with the elemental weakness in mind.


Also a random note: I do more damage with Shifta drinks than "weakness damage up" buff. So unless there's some other buff out there that's better than shifta drinks, let me know please :3

you mention rifle, but rifles dont have good damage, launchers have less/no mobility but easily out damage any weapon in the game. thats why ;p

Riles do a little bit of damage over and over again very quickly. I also free aim at the enemies weak points and have the weak point skill leveled up a bit. I think I do more damage overall with my rifle than I do with my launcher. Especially on bosses. The launcher works great on a crowd of weak enemies though. I've still never seen any crazy damage from my launcher like people are posting in this thread.

not debating on what does more dps, just answering your question on single target damage :P

to get like 4k damage u need.
1. a weakspot on a boss.
2. weakbullet on that weakspot to magnify the damage even further.
3. a just-attack with your strongest launcher skill on that weak spot

this is my build, specialized in hitting weakspots :P
3 in weakbullet because it gives u 2 shots incase u miss 1 or put it on the wrong place, or u can just put a weakpoint on 2 different enemy's

Actually, does anyone have the Standing Snipe skill or whatever it's called? Is it usefull? I find in the desert, I do a lot of standing on rocks and shooting things from far away?
