Can you still register for the beta?

my friend already created a sega id today and he wants to play the beta...the client is downloaded for him and when he gets to the screen to actually register for the beta it says "network is busy please try again later"....its been like this for like 5 hours now...so what should he go about doing in the situation...has sega closed off beta registrations?

i know my friend already did that im saying when he needs to register for the beta the website says network is busy look at the link i posted

Happened to me, but my name worked when I tried. Tell him to try logging in.
