I'm having lots of fun with the game. BUT I think if any video game that I play is going to give me seizures, it'll be this one.

I'm kind of asking for it since I play in a dark room with the brightness way high, but even so... yesterday I was doing some emergency missions with a pretty full multi-party room and I had to shield my eyes because launchers were exploding and enemies were dying and releasing their photon light and it was crazy xD

Here's your options:

1: Have a seizure
2: Get a powerful flashlight and point it up towards the ceiling or wall.
3: Get a lamp near you.
4: Turn on the light in the room you're in.
5: Turn down the overall brightness of the computer you're using.
6: Cheesecake.

The choice is yours. Lol

Yeah, go with cheesecake imo.

And turn on the lights in your room so you can also feast on the cheesecake with your eyes.

just don't sit through a 10 minute cross burst. I literally could not see anything in front of me for half of it.

Playing in the dark + max brightness = retinal damage. You must not be planning on having your eyesight in a few years.

Still, people are complaining about this an awful lot. I don't have this problem, but then again I'm playing at 5760x1080, so everything's nice and spacious.

If you've bought any kind of light bulb in the past ten years, you wouldn't be wasting that much electricity. It would be small change compared to whatever your computer is pulling down, anyway. I wouldn't worry about the extra fifty cents to your bill.

Lower your brightness and download f.lux. It'll change the color temp of your monitor to warmer colors at night so your eyes won't hurt as much.

You also damage your eyes. Not the best health choice in my opinion.
