So two separate questions, would appreciate any help.

First off, is it possible to change the SEGA ID that is created? Just the username (used for logging into the game), not the email associated with it.

Second, is there any way of saving a created character that has already been made? I see that my closed beta character can be loaded, but I wanted to switch ships with one of my characters, and would like to have the same creation choices be moved over. Any idea?

The only way to save is through the Character Creator Benchmark tool
Use screenshot like these with the various attribute open to remember the character build

So in best case, it's best to save screenshots of multiple angle of the face, and all the templete
Like this Vocaloid Ruka face.
