So far I have done this twice in my tp trick career once on a hildertorr and the second time a few seconds ago on a MIL LILY ouch but I suck .. normally I would be like majorly upset but since im looking for, a frozen shooter the count is now an eye popping 20 HILDETORRS and no shooter http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif
and Mil LILY give me the psycho wand but I am also Zero for Six against him.

You're PURPLENUM, correct? 20 torr w/o a FS... Just doesn't sound right. The 6 Mil w/o a PW does sound right, though.

Anyway, I always think about this happening, but it has never happened. I don't even set a TP until I see all the enemies, and once I do, I make a TP very far from the battle area.

I know I know teamphalanx,its wierd forsome reason I cant get him to drop them for me my friend got one off of him but that was on hildetorr number 9 and so far one hasnt dropped for me hmmm maybe, now when I think of it since he was using my char maybe it should be consider 1 for 21??? but man how many pipes do you think it will take before I get the psycho wand from mill lily?

Nope, can't say I've ever piped past a rare critter. Like Phalanx, I actually get a good look at all the critters before I put down a pipe (except for when I'm going against slimes, which uses a completely different tactic).

Your Hildetorr count without payoff is disturbing. For me I got my first Frozen Shooter off my second Hildetorr, and a second FS off my third Hildetorr. It took me twelve Mil Lilies to get a Psycho Wand, but I still think that was a lucky catch. It took twenty-two Pouilly Slimes to get a Lavis Cannon, which seems more average. Don't expect the higher value items to come easy. But in the case of the Frozen Shooter, I'm still fairly surprised that it's being that ellusive to you. Kick your Gamecube in the shins! =>.>=

I'm currently 0 for 26 on the PSYCHO WAND and I have a friend that's 0 for 37... Being killed by a Mil that I could've sworn was out of range is the closest I've come to piping past a rare enemy tho.

well Aredhel the way that you "OOOPS" I mean tell your friend http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif that, the way the TP Trick works is that when you find a room with a bunch monsters, fits the class of the rare monster you are looking for you then repeatedly go back and forth from town and eventually a normal monster will regerate into a rare monster http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

EXAMPLE :
El Rappy = reappears as a Pal Rappy
Hildelt = reappears as a Hildertorr
Ob Lily = reappears as Mil lily

please keep in mind all of the mentioned above are the monsters evolved form in ultimate...
but the tp trick also works the same way in all difficulties but monsters reappear in the forms of Al Rappy , Hildeblue or Nar Lily

I did actually telepipe right past a Pal Rappy, I think it was, once, but since then I've been more careful. 'sides, I believe I was on Pinkal lookin' for an Agito 1975. Better off killing 'em and taking their drumsticks I say! Oh, and material collection is always helpful.

Last night I saw my first Hildetorr totally by accident, but I wasn't on any Frozen Shooter ID. Not only do I not expect to find Hildetorrs anywhere, neither do I expect them to actually crap red boxes. At least half my expectations were fulfilled. 1961 meseta. Are these rare monsters supposed to drop rare items more often and are they specific items or just 'HOORAY, RARE ITEM DROP!' :?

Oh, and do you have to leave the room for the monsters to Re-spawn and pipe back just outside the room or can you do it in the room that the monsters are supposed to Re-spawn at?
