I'm trying to make character on ship 10 and this pops up everytime.

It means you need 500 AC to make the character, which you do.

I have the same problem, so the game isnt really free 2 play then?

The game IS free to play,

but if you want more than one character or trading or a few other features you have to pay.

They do have to make money somehow :P

It's perfectly free 2 play. You're just only allowed one free character at a time otherwise you gotta pay 500 ac

Actually I have friends who are running into this problem after signing up for the first time.

They have no characters, and cant make one without paying..
Now just like you all i told them its free to play you can make one free character, but they cannot even seem to do that?

is there something the english community doesnt know? Maybe we are wrong.

Can anyone confirm this?

That's really bizarre. Could it be a different error?

I see no possible reason as to why they wouldn't be able to create their first character free.

maybe also they are trying to create a char on the first ships were it's currently disabled

Character creation is disabled on some ships due to over population.
