Can you transfer items through your storage?

I was wondering if you were allowed to transfer items from one character to another through items you put up in the storage. If you can, is there certain items that can't be transferred?

same account same ship share the same storage, and I think user-locked item cannot be transferred...other than that, no, I guess.

So wait, if you make a character on a different ship, would the bank show like 178/200 with no items being displayed to take out?

You get 200 more slots per ship.
Also, I think there is a 30 slot storage that is shared between all ships. I haven't confirmed this but it should be right.
